Senior Account Executive
Location: Remote in IL, NY, NJ, PA, TX, AZ, WA, OH, MI

This sales department is looking to add a Senior Account Executive with an outbound focus to the team. As our client base has moved upstream to the middle market (and beyond with initial Enterprise pilots), we are seeking a motivated business development professional who has the expertise to replicate our successful case studies and expand our client portfolio. The role is responsible for acquiring new clients through a defined outbound sales process, and encompasses the full sales cycle from establishing initial contact to closing deals. The role entails a mixture of inside and outside sales exposure (COVID-19 permitting).

Position Overview

  • Develop deep and genuine relationships with business leaders – while focusing on the goal of helping their company operate more effectively and profitably
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers via the company’s service offering(s)
  • Work towards meeting/exceeding quarterly quota targets
  • Close net new business using a consultative sales approach
  • Build a healthy sales pipeline, supported by targeted investments in campaigns co-designed with the Senior Account Executive
  • Be a critical member of the team by helping to define and shape our customer acquisition strategy

Areas of Focus

  • Note: Marketing will provide omnichannel retargeting support to named accounts that outbound reps are prospecting into, with lead form conversions routed to account owners

The Account Executive is a quota carrying sales executive who exhibits a high level of expertise in strategic account positioning. This position works collaboratively across the entire organization – building profitable client relationships with the intent of growing top line revenue growth. 

About the Role:

  • Responsible for managing the entire customer sales cycle (With prospecting and lead generation support from marketing and sales development)
  • Mid-market coverage by territory (deals avg. $100k-$1mm in Annual Recurring Revenue)

About You:

  • 3+ years of proven strategic sales planning
  • 2+ years of experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM system
  • Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, senior management and/or C-level executives
  • 3+ years History of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets
  • Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
  • Startup experience preferred
  • Ability to travel required
